Losing last digit in clearing number?

`Hello!
Something strange is happening when i enter my clearing number for bank account...

it is "83279", but, when i just open the form for changing and then close it on "X" or on "Abort" - last digit disappears, so it becomes "8327", without last number.

Even stranger, last evening i have set my clearing number to "83279", but when i have logged in this morning, it says "8327"....

Am I doing something wrong? 😀

Thanx!

Regards,
M.

  • Hi Miroslav,
Thanks so much for getting touch!

That’s correct. Swedbank / Sparbanken is a little different since their clearing numbers have five digits while other banks only have four. So in other words, you need to omit the last (fifth) digit and enter 8327 as your clearing number.

There's a little help text in blue about this under the box where you enter your clearing number when you register your direct debit mandate (autogiro) on our website.

I will keep my fingers crossed for you to win one of our big prizes soon!

    Kind regards,
